Dear Brutus is a 1917 fantasy play written by James Matthew Barrie. I worked on the show as the producer, and marked my first executive role as a part of the University of York's Drama Society. This puts me in charge of managing all the logistics behind the project, particularly scheduling and budgeting.
In order to assist me with scheduling rehearsals, I programmed a piece of bespoke software, 'Brutus', that allowed me to display cast/crew availability, as well as arrange times for rehearsals. This was incredibly helpful in the careful planning that had to go in to ensure that all actors were available for their required rehearsals.
